Long-Sharp Gallery brings fresh works to Art Palm Beach in January (January 24-28, Palm Beach Convention Center). Abstraction will be front and center. A selection of a dozen works by Sam Gilliam are featured, including unique prints, collage and mixed media compositions, and prints created in a small edition of 5. Abstract sculpture by Cha Jong Rye and Patrick Hurst will be juxtaposed with works by abstract painters Tamar Kander, Amy Kirchner, and Armand Moens. Suites of sculpture by Julian Opie (freestanding and wall mounted works) will complement the abstract sculptural theme in the booth. Works by Andy Warhol, David Hockney, Roy Lichtenstein, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Jason Myers, Nicola Anthony, and Julia Ibbini, will round out Long-Sharp Gallery's presentation.
