According to the Artist
Gavin is the subject of a series of recycled material sculptures, ranging from life-size to monumental in scale. These sculptures are made directly from recycled scrap steel and building materials. The subject is a solitary figure, weathered and worn, but still standing strong. Gavin is a metaphor for all of us, struggling through the trials and tribulations of life, caught in a moment between standing still and moving forward.
