White-Pearl-Moon-March

The color white is reminiscent of the moon, pearls, and the last snow of March - soft, shifting markers of time held in tension. This softness contrasts with the geometry of the grid-like bent steel that recalls the folded paper of traditional book art. The back of each metal accordion casts a glowing magenta hue against the wall, a warming dawn light over a cold snowy morning.
