We’re delighted to announce the extraordinary success of four living women artists this year at Art Palm Beach (which took place January 28 - February 1, 2026): Moira Cameron, Amy Kirchner, Julia Ibbini, and Tamar Kander.
The fair opened with immediate collector interest, as all three of Amy Kirchner's monumental paintings--each measuring at least 8' x 4'--sold during the opening night vernissage on January 28. A fourth large-scale Kirchner painting sold during the subsequent days of the fair. This marked the first-ever exhibition of Kirchner's monumental abstract expressionist works in Florida.
British portrait painter Moira Cameron, winner of the 2024 Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer Portrait Award at London's National Portrait Gallery, achieved a complete sell-out of all four paintings slated for exhibition. This success follows the complete sell-out of Cameron's work with Long-Sharp Gallery and Vigo Gallery in London, Miami, and New York.
Abu Dhabi-based artist Julia Ibbini, whose intricate paper compositions have garnered international acclaim, placed four works with new collectors at the fair; and Indiana-based abstract painter Tamar Kander rounded out the presentation with three works sold, all to private collectors.
"The response to these four extraordinary women artists has been truly affirming," said Rhonda Long-Sharp. "Each of these artists brings a distinct vision and exceptional craft to their work. To see collectors respond so enthusiastically--particularly to Amy Kirchner's monumental paintings within the first hours of the fair--validates our commitment to championing female voices in contemporary art. This success reflects not only the quality of their work but also the art market's growing recognition of women artists working at the highest level."
