Prairie

"I have a group of paintings hanging in my studio I call the “field series”. Prairie is one of these, based on the feeling evoked through the color and forms. When I put them together, I see a beautiful symmetry in how they present together. I grew up in Nebraska, and this painting feels like those familiar places I have encountered throughout my life.”
