Poem 2
“Poem 2” finds an activation point between 4 different forms. There is minimal color, so the focus is on the placement of the elements and how they respond to each other. I enjoy reading poetry, but also looking at it. How the words fall on the page—seldom locked into a grid of equal-length lines, rather, each word placed surprisingly, sparingly. Creating both a rhythm and a pause. I trust the poet has worked everything out and only what is essential remains.
