Chul Hyun Ahn is a Korean artist who lives and works in Baltimore, Maryland. Through the use of light, color, mirrors, and illusion, Ahn investigates infinite space and the threshold between the conscious and subconscious. His sculptures create optical and bodily experiences of limitless depth, inviting viewers into spaces of contemplation and perceptual uncertainty.

Drawing from geometric painting and the Zen practice of meditation, Ahn translates light, space, and technology into works that consider infinity, emptiness, and the possibility of physical and spiritual travel. His work is included in numerous public and private collections, including the Margulies Collection at the Warehouse, the Hearst Foundation, the Delaware Art Museum, the Samuel P. Harn Museum of Art, and the Palm Springs Art Museum. Ahn has been represented by C. Grimaldis Gallery since 2002.
