Framing | Andy Warhol Photography

Photography by Andy Warhol in the collection of Long-Sharp Gallery has been framed to the standards of the Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts.

For the polaroids:
Each polaroid is framed in a white metal frame measuring 11 x 8.875 inches (27.9 x 22.5 cm) with an 8 ply acid free rag for the top mat and a four ply acid free rag mat. The Foundation recommends a Beva hinging process for these works. The works are also framed using optium museum plexiglass.

For the gelatin silver prints:
Each gelatin silver print is framed in a black wood frame measuring 17.5 x 16 inches (44.4 x 40.6 cm) with an 8 ply acid free rag for the top mat and a four ply acid free rag mat. The black and white photographs are floating in the frame. The works are also framed using optium museum plexiglass.
